WhatsApp added Search option on Chat details page

WhatsApp keeps testing new features with the Beta updates before releasing them to more users. You can join the WhatsApp Beta to get the latest features and updates. Alternatively, you can also download the latest beta APKs from third-party sources like APKMirror and DroidMaze Beta Channel on Telegram.

In the latest WhatsApp Beta v2.22.6.3, I noticed a new search button on the Chat details section of the individual as well as group chats. It allows you to search in WhatsApp personal and group chats.

The search feature in WhatsApp chats was previously available from the three-dot menu and it is still there. WhatsApp team added this new button in the chat details section.

Here’s a screenshot showing the same:

As you can see, I am using WhatsApp Beta v2.22.6.3 which is the latest beta version of WhatsApp.

In the previous version, WhatsApp Beta v2.22.6.2, they introduced a shortcut that allows you to choose an audience while sharing the WhatsApp status for individual status. It was also a very handy feature that saves time in switching Staus Privacy back and forth.
