Instagram planning to allow Image/Videos in Comments

Instagram continues to introduce new features in the social media app and improve the user experience. Following this continuous process, Instagram recently brought Encrypted Messaging and Safety Check feature as I reported in our last Instagram news article.

Again, in this new beta update, I found that Instagram is adding media support feature which will allow users to add images and videos in their comments. It is not sure as of now that Instagram will include both images and videos. I will update once more information is available.

Note: It is not available for public, we reverse engineered the app in order to find this feature.

I created a poll to understand what people think about this upcoming feature, and the response was not so good. You can see it yourself.

Insights for Live Videos

In upcoming updates of Instagram app, users maybe able to “View Insights” of the live videos. As of now, users are able to see their post insights.

But, in upcoming updates you’ll be able to “View Insights” for your Live videos after Live ends. It will look like following.

Disclaimer: These are possible features discovered by the individual writers of the article, and these features may or may not make it to the final release. So, do not blame us if any of these feature doesn’t make it to final stable release as it completely depends on Instagram to ship these features after testing or not.
