Google is known for their innovative work in field of machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve their own AI systems. They keep inventing and releasing new technologies to empower their AI for better user experience.
DroidMaze senior editor Abhishek Verma recently noticed a patent filed by Google Technology Holdings LLC which clearly state that Google is working on an accent detection technology. According to patent filing, it will recognize the accent of a speaker and Google is preparing an accent library for this accent recognition technology and it will improve itself with time.
Maybe, Google will soon introduce this technology to their systems and can provide it under Google Workshop like they provide Google Text to Speech library for public use.
It would be fascinating to see this upcoming technology from Google.
