ColorOS 12 is the update the will bring Android 12 support to Oppo Phones. As per the leaked screenshots, it will be a huge update for Oppo users. ColorOS 12 will revamp the whole UI of Oppo smartphones. It is indeed the biggest update as far as we know.
Android 12 was itself a huge update from the previous Android versions. Android 12 was a huge surprise for everyone when it was announced in Google I/O. Jon Prosser ruined everyone’s surprise with the Android 12 leak a few days before the official announcement.
ColorOS 12 will come with components of HydrogenOS
ColorOS 12 already seem to be a big update for Oppo users. Digital Chat Station, a popular leaker from China posted about ColorOS 12 on Weibo. Weibo post revealed that ColorOS 12 may come with some components from HydrogenOS. He also hinted that ColorOS 12 will be a huge update from ColorOS 11. So, basically OnePlus merger with Oppo is affecting not only OnePlus users but Oppo users too. However, the company already clarified that they will keep HydrogenOS separate from ColorOS. They will continue the support of HydrogenOS to the promised years.
