Brave is a popular browser for Android devices, as it offers a lot of security features which makes it one of the favourite browsers for privacy concerned users. It offers advanced tracking protection and ad blocker which are not offered by rival browsers like Chrome. Brave have a BAT or Basic Attention Token system that awards users for viewing the ads served by Brave. These ads can be enabled by users, and then users use these BAT coins to donate to their favourite websites or publishers.
However, there are some users facing issue with this Ad viewing thing. According to many forum threads and tweets, we got to know that users are not getting rewards for viewing ads in Brave browser.
One user created a thread on Brave Community asking that he is not getting rewards for viewing ads on his Moto G5s Plus, which runs on Android 8.1. After which the Brave Community manager @steevan replied that they are aware of this issue and informed the team responsible for managing the Payment and rewards.
We are hoping that this issue with rewards will get fixed soon and users start receiving rewards for viewing ads. We will update you once this issue get fixed until then cheers Brave community. š
